Why do I need a EWP trained operators card?

Although a High risk work licence is not required for the equipment set out above, yellow card  safetyevery State in Australia has an Act and regulations in place to protect the health, yellow card  safety and welfare of all members yellow card  safetyin our workforce. The acts yellow card  safetyclearly state that there is a ‘duty of care’ to ensure workplace safety. As a responsible employer and in line yellow card  safetywith your insurance yellow card  safety policies these combined require that you train and employ licenced operators to minimise any risk or injury to co-workers.

Forklift Licence (LF Class)

The Worksafe “LF” Licence allows you to operate counter balanced forklift trucks, these are by far the most common Forklifts you will see in any workplace.


Course Duration:  1 or 2 Day Courses.

Pre-requisites: All students must be over 18 years of age. 

Attendees: 1 and 2 day course – Max 6 (per trainer per day).

Frequency: Victoria: more than 15 courses per week.

Student Requirements: Closed toe shoes, appropriate work clothing, current photo I.D
